ROUST Records Presents . . . Avant Garde at the Potsdam Public Library is excited to announce an evening of “Unearthing a Story” through drums, electronics, guitars and effects, Saturday, July 25. 6PM Doors/6:30PM Music. All ages. $10 or what you can afford, no one turned away for lack of funds

In this very special evening, long-time ROUST collaborator and multidisciplinary artist Claude Aldous, of Canton ventures into the waters of solo free-jazz drumming, trap kit exploration, and modular synth magic.

Claude is widely known for his work as an experimental percussionist and ambient/noise musician, and publisher of the zine Deft Esoterica, who regularly collaborates with his partner, Ola Aldous. He also performs solo under the moniker end Goat and is part of the avant-garde trio Fault Commission.

In addition to his ROUST Records releases, his collaborative and solo works have appeared on various labels, including Steep Gloss and Adhyâropa Records. You can listen to his solo ambient compositions via claudeandola.com
