Reading Camp 2016
Summer Reading Camp 2016, for children ages 5-10, is based upon the NYS Collaborative Summer Library Program, ON YOUR MARK, GET SET...READ! This year’s theme will help children exercise their minds by focusing on all manner of ways to get moving! Expect some crafts and activities, games, songs and, of course, lots of reading!
Campers will attend camp for five consecutive days
from 10:30 a.m. until Noon each day. Four sessions are available:
The 5-day camp format will allow for larger projects that take several days to accomplish or need overnight to dry.
The camp is free, however, registration
is required. Please fill out the attached form and return it to the
|Program Age Level||The age limits stated for the program
are flexible . If you feel that your child would benefit from camp
and is not within the 5-10 year old age group, please do not hesitate
to contact the
Mrs. Sachs is in the library 8:30 a.m.—4:30 p.m., TuesdaySaturday.
Ideally, children should be at least entering Kindergarten in the fall
to fully benefit from the camp program.
